Paris

Buy Paris TicketsIf you are in another city in Europe, do not forget to buy a train ticket to Paris. This is the most popular destination in the world. More than 25 million people a year enjoy the wonders that this city of light offers. You cannot be left aside.

Situated at both banks of the Seine River, the capital of France is considered the most charming and elegant in the world.

As soon as you get to Paris you feel something strange in the air. Its eccentric atmosphere is rather difficult to describe. But surely you will be instantly captured by the typical feeling that any tourist experiences: that the time is not always enough and that you want to come back again and stay much more.

Paris is comfortably linked to the rest of France and to other European countries by the NSFC train net which has high speed trains like the TGV. Most of them are included in different passes like the EurailPass (Global and Select), Europass and FrancePass.

Train Paris

This is why to arrive in Paris the best option is to arrive by train. This is advisable for those persons who are afraid of travelling by plane and also for those who want to enjoy a nice trip that allows you to rest comfortably (in fact, the trains are really comfortable), have breakfast and be ready first hour in the morning to start the tour .On the other hand, if you travel by plane the trip is much shorter but you have to get up at dawn to take the plane and you do not enjoy any views.

Once you have arrived, it is convenient to go to a tourist information office to maximize the time availability you have.

To describe Paris is really difficult because any city is worth going round.

Try to have at least 4 or 5 days to visit the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon, the Champs Elysees or the Sacred Coeur Basilica located in the bohemian neighborhood of Montmartre (the place where artists like Picasso, Van Gogh or Modigliani gave birth to their most important works of art).  Amelié, the famous picture, was filmed here.

To go up the Eiffel Tower is a must to admire Paris. But you can also have a wonderful view of Paris from the Arch of Triumph.

At night there are so many options to have a great time that you do not  feel like going to bed, to be able to enjoy most of it. Have a romantic dinner near the Eiffel Tower, go on a cruise along the Seine River to admire the lights of Paris, or go to any of the unique world shows like the one at the Moulin Rouge.

Near Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter starts its movement at sunset. Its small streets full of bars and restaurants turn this place into one of the most cheerful, especially in the Parisian evenings and nights. There you will be able to find options for all wallets and tastes in any restaurant from all over the world surrounded by an exquisite, typical Parisian atmosphere.
